PlayBox Neo and Enlighten Digital Partner During SMPTE Florida Technology Conference

Following two highly successful outings at NAB Show New York and IBC2024, PlayBox Neo turns its attention to the southern U.S. The leading media management and playout provider will partner with Orlando-based Enlighten Digital, during the sixth annual SMPTE Florida Technology Conference. Taking place from December 4-5 at the Hilton Orlando, the conference brings together industry professionals, engineers, and content creators to explore cutting-edge technologies, including advancements in IP-based workflows, remote production tools, virtual and augmented reality, AI-driven content management, and 4K/8K broadcasting. Enlighten Digital, a premiere systems design and professional and broadcast equipment dealer, is a gold sponsor of the event.

Van Duke, U.S. Director of Operations, PlayBox Neo, will be on hand alongside Brian Ross, President, Enlighten Digital, to discuss recent improvements to the PlayBox Neo range of multi-platform media playout solutions and hint at the company’s NAB 2025 offerings. In addition to SMPTE ST 2110 IP input/output support, recent highlights from PlayBox Neo include updates to its AirBox Neo-20 playout and IP streaming system; Capture Suite for content ingest; and Media Gateway for live media delivery and distribution. The company’s cutting-edge Channel-in-a-Box turnkey playout production suite, featuring Cloud2TV, their cloud-based media solution, will also be a key part of next year’s NAB plans.

“We’re gearing up for a strong presence at NAB next year, and SMPTE Florida is the perfect setting to start communicating our direction,” said Duke. “It’s a highly interactive conference with a lot of in-depth discussions about the future of broadcast technology. Given the level of expertise among those attending, we anticipate some very useful feedback on our developments. I’m also looking forward to discovering new ideas on how we can implement our technology to address particular pain points and news on regional industry trends.”
