LucidLink Illustrates its Integration into Adobe After Effects to the European M and E Industry at IBC 2024
Storage Collaboration Platform Showcases Innovative Use Case at Paris 2024 and Provides Preview of LucidLink 3.0
Amsterdam, September 12, 2024 – LucidLink, the storage collaboration platform for the world’s largest studios, brands, and creative professionals, will be exhibiting at IBC 2024 at the RAI Convention Center in Amsterdam September 13-16, 2024 in Hall 3, stand 3.A63. This year they will be showing their latest integrations with Adobe, featuring the LucidLink Panel for Adobe After Effects® to the European M&E industry, alongside its latest preview of LucidLink 3.0.
This Adobe integration enables creative editors and graphic artists to optimize playback performance by pinning compositions directly within After Effects, enhancing efficiency and speed. Following the successful launch of the LucidLink Panel for Adobe Premiere® Pro at Adobe MAX 2023, these integrations streamline workflows for creative professionals working with Adobe Creative Cloud® apps.
LucidLink version 2.7 remains the top platform for remote collaboration, powering productions like Open Mike’s The Last Leg during the Paris 2024 Paralympics this summer. The multi-camera live studio show utilized LucidLink to enable seamless content sharing between its production teams in Cardiff and Paris, with real-time access to H.264 clips and full-resolution MXF files from clips sourced on the day of transmission from a wide range of formats and locations, including online rips, ENG multi-camera shoots, and extensive show archives. This cloud-based workflow facilitated instant collaboration between editors, speeding up the content pipeline.
At IBC 2024, LucidLink is also offering demos of the LucidLink 3.0 product preview, including new mobile apps for Android and iOS. LucidLink 3.0 will ship in Q4 2024, with a series of product updates to follow.
“We are excited to show the European market how bringing LucidLink’s caching and pinning technology directly into After Effects revolutionizes how artists approach motion graphics, making it easier than ever to focus on their creative vision,” said Matt Schneider, Director of Product Marketing at LucidLink. “With LucidLink 3.0 shipping in Q4 2024, we’re excited to take creative collaboration to the next level.”
Both the Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro integrations are compatible with macOS and Windows, ensuring broad accessibility. LucidLink panels for Adobe Creative Cloud video applications are available on Adobe Exchange. For more information on the new workflow enhancement, click here.
