Brainstorm appoints Erik Iriondo as new Sales Manager for Latin America

Brainstorm announces the reinforcement of its activities in Latin America with the promotion of Erik Iriondo to Sales Manager for the region, based in Mexico City. Following his extensive and successful commercial experience at Brainstorm for the region, as well as in other markets worldwide, Erik assumes responsibility for Brainstorm’s commercial activities in Mexico, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. He will be supported by Brainstorm’s technical and production team in Latin America, including the extensive network of distributors and agents that he has helped to build.

In 2024, Brainstorm’s sales in Latin America exceeded all expectations, and to continue this path of growth that has established Brainstorm as the market leader in virtual production and 3D graphics for broadcast and cinema, Erik will have as his main responsibility the task of further expanding the reach of the brand, reaching other sectors such as corporate and education, thanks to the diversification of the company’s product range.

“My new responsibility in Latin America is merely a continuation of Brainstorm’s strategy of the past few years,” says Erik Iriondo. “Our presence and involvement in the region has continued to grow and we are convinced that this decision to be based in the region is the logical consequence of our confidence in this market.”

With this appointment, Brainstorm strengthens its activities worldwide, and Borja Chirivella, who previously led the Latin American team, takes on new responsibilities in China and Africa, in order to take advantage of his extensive experience to focus on promoting the brand in these markets and boosting growth in other sectors, a task he has successfully carried out on other occasions. Likewise, Francisco Gallego becomes responsible for sales in EMEA and CIS, with the exception of Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Ireland, which continue to be under the responsibility of Mónica Víctor and David Alexander respectively.

In the words of David Alexander, commercial director of Brainstorm, “our company has always been committed to Latin America, a region in which we are well established and in which, with Erik Iriondo based in Mexico, we hope to continue our growth. Erik’s experience in Latin America and the rest of the world reinforces our perspectives for the region and brings us even closer to our current and potential clients as well as to the channel and end users.”
